The Sharp Sisters' Museum of Curious Revelations
"Prepare to be astounded as you feast your eyes on nature's strangest mistakes!"
Shambolic's latest production was a rollicking comic tale of the downfall of a 1950's freak show.
Meet the Sharp Sisters and their 'Museum of Curious Revelations'! A peek behind the curtains reveals that all is not well for their troupe of unusual female acts and change is afoot. The unique assortment of post-war women take their fate into their own hands; making an inventive bid for survival. The Sharp Sisters fight to stop closure of their show, as their acts face an uncertain future...
The show was presented at The Etcetera Theatre in August 2010, followed by redevelopment and an extraordinary one-off performance amidst the bustle of Kings St Pancras station in January 2011. The show was then performed in March at The Cockpit Theatre.
"You won't find anything pickled here!"
